What is the Gift Exchange?

• • The gift exchange started out as a "Secret Santa" game and was run by players for many, many years. The game was automated for the Winter Holidays in 2020.
  • The Gift Exchange runs twice a year; in December for the Winter Holidays, and in June for the Summer Celebration and the anniversary of the game.
  • The Gift Exchange will open on December 1st for the Winter Holidays, and on June 1st for the Summer Celebrations. To enter once the Exchange opens, go to the orange Gift Exchange link on the left side menu and follow the instructions listed.
    • Your name and wish list will be sent to another player on the same server, and in the same level as your entry.
    • Everyone starts out at level 1. Once you have shown that you are willing to contribute to the spirit and fun of the game, and demonstrate an honest effort to participate, you will be assigned to the next level for the next event (Winter Holiday, or Summer Celebration)
      • There are 3 levels, mostly based on how much game money you are able to spend/use on the gifts you send. There are also limits about spending real money.
    • You will be STRONGLY urged to complete the Feedback form so that we can tell if there are any problems that need to be addressed. Not completing the form may jeopardize your move to the next level.
