The suggested reading order for the categories is as follows:
- How to Use This Wiki (You Are Here)
- Getting Started: This section is geared towards brand-new players and focuses on learning your way around the HAJ site. You'll explore the left sidebar menu, create your first horse, and make your first forum post.
- Building Your Stable: This section starts moving you forward in the game, with discussions about growing your show herd, breeding your horses, and other basic tasks.
- Horse Color Genetics: This section gets more in-depth with discussions of color genetics, hidden genes, complete and incomplete gene dominance, and more.
- Beyond the Basics: Further information about growing your stable beyond your first barn and pasture. Discusses upgrades, advanced facilities, etc. Other game mechanics are discussed here, including a detailed explanation of how to use the search tool.
- Just for Fun: All about tack, HAJ events, and other fun things that aren't necessary for stable growth or maintenance,
- How to Contribute: Who to contact if you want to help write content, become a wiki Editor, or have a question you feel should be answered here.

How to Search This Wiki
Below is a list of search functions you can use to quickly find information on the wiki.
Header Search Bar - The search bar/link in the blue header at the top of every page allows you to search the entire wiki. This search will look through the entire wiki and will take you to a search page that includes options and features that can help you refine your search.
Article Search Bar - When viewing any article, a search bar can be found at the top of the left sidebar. This search will look only at the pages within that article and will take you to a search page that includes options and features that can help you refine your search.
Search Techniques

This search will return every page with "primary" or "barn" in it. Pages containing both "primary" and "barn" will appear as the top search results. It will also return any pages tagged with one or more of these terms. |

This search is most commonly used when you are looking for a specific phrase. This search will return only pages that have exactly what you put between the quotation marks. Only pages containing the string "primary barn" will appear in your results. |

A tag search will search only pages tagged with the tag name you put inside the brackets. See screenshot below. |
